• Past Tense

    Guys, if you want to tell your experience to your friend you can use SIMPLE PAST TENSE.
    In general, Simple past tense is sentences that tells about something that happen in the past.

    Pattern :
    (+) S + Verb 2 + complement
    (-) S + did not + Verb 1 + complement
    (?) Did + S + Verb ! + O + ?

    Example :
    (+) Helen rode the car yesterday
    (-) Dhana didn’t read the book yesterday
    (?) Did Sonia and Theo play the game yesterday ?

    Past continous tense is a kind of tense that we use to describe our experience which was happening in certain time in the past,.

    The pattern :
    (+) S + was/were + verb-ing + complement
    (-) S + was not/were not + verb-ing + complement
    (?) Was/were + S + verb-ing + complement + ?
    Example :
    (+) Ade was playing football at seven o’clock last night
    (-) Yudi was not reading a book at nine o’clock
    (?) Were you listening to the music at five o’clock ?

    Past perfect tense is a kind o tense that we use to describe event/action that started in a certain time in the past and completed or finished till certain time in the past too or an event happened before another event happened.
    The pattern :
    (+) S + had + Verb 3 + complement
    (-) S + had not + Verb 3 + complement
    (?) Had + S + Verb 3 + complement + ?

    Example :
    (+) He had drunk before he wrote
    (-) She had not cried before her mom gone
    (?) Had they played before their teacher came ?
